Yes. Your sexual activity, partner, cycle, medication and health data is stored locally on your device, in encrypted storage, and is never sent to LoveLust servers, never sold, and never shared with advertisers. Cycle predictions, safety readings and statistics are all calculated on your device. It is shared with Apple Health or Health Connect only if you turn that integration on. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

Your intimate data does not. The app sends limited, non-sensitive data to our backend: an internal account identifier, your language, your notification token, app version, your subscription status, and your communication preferences. We also use anonymous analytics and crash diagnostics. None of it includes your activity, partners, cycle, medication or health data. The app still ships Google's Firebase SDK for crash reporting and feature flags, which we are working to remove; the Privacy Policy says what that means and what we intend to do about it.

Analytics is off until you consent, with five exceptions that always fire: the app being opened, the record that you gave analytics consent or asked for your data to be deleted, and two storage-integrity signals. They are listed in the Privacy Policy.

The one thing you write that does leave the device is a survey answer, and only if you choose to answer a survey.

Yes, and only if you answer one. Your answers are stored without any identifier: no account id, no device id, just the survey, its version, your language and a timestamp. Separately, we record that your account earned that reward so it is granted once, and that record never holds your answers. Some questions accept free text, so do not type anything into them you would not want stored. Nothing from your journal, cycle log, partners or medications is attached.

No. There is no sign-up, no email, no password. The app identifies itself to our backend with a random identifier that is not derived from anything you entered, and that exists so notifications and purchases work. Nothing you record is tied to a name.

No. A partner in LoveLust is a private note you keep for yourself. Nothing is sent to them, they are not invited, they have no account, and there is no way for one person's app to see another's. Anything you save about someone else stays on your device under the same encryption as the rest.

Yes, and that is the normal case. Logging, the cycle module, reminders, statistics and the safety readings all run on your device with no connection at all. Only four things need the network: an optional survey, the games catalog, this FAQ and the legal documents, and the encrypted cloud backup if you turn it on.

That is what these settings are for:

• App lock (premium) requires your face, fingerprint or a PIN before the app opens.
• Discreet notifications strips reminders down so a lock screen shows nothing about what they concern.
• Alternate app icons (premium) let the app sit on your home screen under a different look.

Two things to be aware of: an iOS widget or watch complication shows what it shows to whoever glances at the screen, so choose which one you place; and anything you export, such as a PDF report, is an ordinary file once it is saved or shared.

Yes, with the encrypted cloud backup, which doubles as sync. Enable it on the first device, then sign in and enter the same passphrase on the second. Both devices encrypt and decrypt locally, so the copy that travels between them is unreadable to us and to your cloud provider. Without it, each device keeps its own separate data.

All games unlimited, deeper cycle insights, statistics by partner and date range, encrypted cloud sync with Apple Health or Health Connect, the biometric app lock, and the themes and alternate icons. Everything else, including logging, reminders, screenings and the basic cycle tracking, is free.

Nothing is deleted, and nothing is held hostage. Your data stays on your device exactly as it is, you can still log, and you can still export all of it. The premium features stop, so some readings and screens go back behind the offer, and the encrypted cloud backup stops updating. Subscribe again and everything is where you left it.

No. LoveLust is not a contraceptive, not a fertility treatment and not a medical device. The fertile window is an estimate drawn from what you logged, it can be wrong, and it must never be the reason you skip protection. For contraception or family planning, talk to a healthcare professional.

Usually one of three reasons. There is not enough history yet, and the app would rather say nothing than guess. Your cycles vary too much for an estimate to mean anything, in which case it says so instead of drawing a window. Or you are using a hormonal method that suppresses ovulation, which makes the estimate meaningless; you can also turn estimations off yourself in the cycle settings.

Only if you turn it on, and you choose the direction. With the integration enabled, cycle data can be read from and written to Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android, so LoveLust and the rest of your health apps agree. Turning it off stops the exchange; what was already shared lives in that health app, under its own controls.

Yes. Everything you have recorded exports as JSON from Settings → Storage → Export data, on any plan. LoveLust+ also builds a PDF report for a consultation, covering your cycle, screenings, medication and the relevant history, and deliberately leaving your partners out of it: no partner name, no partner id, nothing read from a partner's record.

It is an optional premium feature. If you enable it, your data is encrypted on your device with a key derived from a passphrase you choose, then uploaded to your own Google Drive or iCloud. We never receive your backup or your passphrase.

We cannot recover it, and we cannot decrypt your backup without it; that is the point of the encryption. If the passphrase is lost, the backup cannot be restored. Store it somewhere safe.

If you did not enable cloud backup, your data lived only on that device and is gone. We recommend enabling encrypted cloud backup in Settings so you can restore on a new device.

In the app: Settings → Storage → Clear all data erases everything on the device, and asks our backend to delete your account record at the same time. Uninstalling the app also removes local data, but leaves that record.

Important: if you used cloud backup, clearing local data or uninstalling does not delete the backup. To remove it, go to Settings → Cloud storage, sign out, and delete the remote backup. We keep it until you do, so you can restore after reinstalling.

Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Yes. LoveLust is intended only for users 18 or older.

You can access, correct, delete, export, and restrict your data, and withdraw consent (GDPR Art. 15 to 21). Most of this you can do directly in the app: export via Settings → Storage → Export data, delete via the steps above, and withdraw analytics or intimate-data consent in Settings → Privacy without deleting anything. To exercise any right or reach the data controller, contact [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Start with Settings → Troubleshooting, which can restore purchases, retry a stuck sync, reconnect cloud storage and re-request permissions. If that does not sort it, the support page is the way to reach us, and it helps to say which device and app version you are on.
