Sharing toys

Best not to share them, but if you do, cover the toy with a new external condom before use. Change it between people, between areas of the body (going from anal to vaginal or to the mouth, or the other way round), and if it drops, tears or gets dirty. Use a water- or silicone-based lubricant and avoid oil-based ones with latex, as they raise the risk of it tearing.

Wash the toy after every use, and use different toys for the anus and the vagina. After anal play it is worth washing your hands and cleaning whatever touched the area, barriers and toys included.
